Grant White became the dealer principal and part owner of Heartland CDJR in September of 2018. He has been in the automotive industry for a total of 13 years. His background is in e-commerce sales and digital marketing. Grant has been a resident of Kansas City for 18 years and currently lives in Parkville, Missouri with his wife and kids. In his free time you can catch him at his kid’s extra-curricular activities or the golf course. Grant is an involved owner who is passionate about changing the way people buy and sell vehicles. Ken Keith is originally from Beaumont, Texas and went to Lamar University where he got his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He currently lives in North Kansas City and loves the small town feel of Kansas City while still enjoying the entertainment and luxuries that large cities offer. Ken has been in the car business for over 30 years and got his start selling cars. He has worked for Bill Woods Ford, Northtowne Hyundai Mazda Volkswagen, Shawnee Mission Hyundai and Randy Curnow Chevy Buick GMC CDJR. Ken is a professional with extensive experience in various positions in the dealership. He was previously the director of our Vehicle Buying Center where he led a team that purchased vehicles from the public. His son is a talented swimmer and in his free time, Ken enjoys cheering him on. If you’ve got it, we’ll buy it – Vehicles, Tractors, ATV’s, Campers, Golf Carts etc.
Lynn Gronniger is a seasoned professional in her field with over 26 years of experience. Lynn began in the car business with the brands Pontiac, Buick and GMC where she remained for 15 years. After that, she became the Director of Finance for Northtowne Volkswagon and worked there for 11 years. Lynn completed her degree in court reporting and is an animal lover. In her free time, Lynn likes to spend time with friends, family, her many cats and working out. We are so happy to have Lynn apart of our team; her relationships with a variety of lenders allows her to get a range of credit situations financing. Lynn’s dedication to customer service does not go unnoticed and she is a vital piece of our team.
Dru Peregrine has over 4 years of experience specialized in automotive niche marketing. Her previous experience is in Human Resources and City Government and Planning. Dru grew up in the Kansas City area in Kearney, Missouri. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at Northwest Missouri State University. She also proudly serves on the Liberty Hospital Foundation’s Advisory Board. Dru is passionate about digital marketing. She is also a vital piece of our Business Development Center in which she provides training and support to ensure success for the BDC and Sales Department. When Dru isn’t focusing on Marketing she is assisting our staff in implementing efficient and effective processes to help better serve our customers. Dru recently earned certification for Commercial/Fleet Vehicle Sales and has already assisted dozens of business owners purchase New Ram Vehicles for their business through the Stellantis Fleet Programs!
Monica Harris, called Nay Nay by her friends and family, grew up in Excelsior Springs. Following high school she pursued a career in modeling which took her to multiple places like Detroit, New York and parts of Missouri. Currently, Monica is a dedicated mother and caregiver to her outgoing daughter. After many years of trying to learn how to swim, skate and dance she learned that sports were not her strong suit. Instead, she found her love for people. Monica is passionate about spreading love to everyone she comes in contact with and feels it is her purpose in life to leave people better than she found them. In her free time, Monica enjoys fishing, crawfishing, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Justin Morgan, named “Red” by his friends and family has been in the automotive industry for 11 years. For those 11 years he has been dedicated to Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram product knowledge. Red was born and raised in Kearney, Missouri and currently lives in Excelsior Springs. Prior to the automotive industry, Red worked for the Kansas City Star. In his free time he enjoys going off-roading with his wife of 25 years in his Jeep Wrangler and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Austin Seever was raised in Liberty, Missouri and graduated high school as a Liberty Blue Jay. Austin has experience in various sales and customer service positions prior to entering the automotive industry. Austin has experience with the brands Ford, Kia, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM and their product lines. He even spent 2 years at selling campers at Camping World. Austin enjoys the fast paced environment at the dealership and is passionate about vehicles so learning the new models is fun! In his free time, Austin stays busy spending time with friends and family. He believes that buying a car should be fun and wants all of his customers to have an easy and fun experience!
Trey Hubbard is originally from South Carolina but has lived in Kansas City for several years. He received a bachelor’s degree in English from Kansas University and has been in the car business since 2013. Trey began his career at Northtowne Volkswagen and then worked for our sister store, Heartland Chevrolet where he was quickly promoted from the sales floor to finance where he remained for 4 years. He is passionate about his family and enjoy’s cooking in his free time.
Robert Strong is originally from Wheatridge, Colorado and has lived in Kansas City for over 10 years. Prior to joining the automotive industry, Robert served in the Army for 3 years. His experience is in retail and was a district manager, trainer and auditor for 20 years. Robert loves the car business because of the camaraderie and team atmosphere. Robert enjoys spending time with his dog and cat as well as with friends and traveling. Robert is an impressive and driven individual who truly treats his customers like family. Currently, Robert is our Acquisition Manager where he leads a team that acquires vehicles from the public.
Rick Suppes is a Kansas native and currently lives in Overland Park, Kansas. Before returning to Kansas, where he was raised, Rick spent time in Kentucky, Illinois and Colorado. He has over 25 years in the automotive industry focused on vehicle sales. He has experience with a variety of car brands including Toyota, GM and Mazda. Rick is a proud father to 1 daughter and enjoys spending his free time cheering on his Kansas City Chiefs!
Ashley Bellemore is from and currently lives in Excelsior Springs. Before getting into the car industry she was working as a customer service representative for Citi Bank for over 10+ years. She has been in the car business for nearly 3 years and focuses on title work. She enjoys the fast pace environment, the customer interaction, & the energy that the Heartland team brings. In Ashley’s free time she enjoys spending time with her teenage son and husband of almost 14 years. Ashley is eager to keep growing in her career and we are so happy to have her apart of our team.
Jeff Wathen is originally from Riverside, MO and now lives in Vibbard, MO with his wife for 30+ years. Jeff has 25+ years of experience and is an ASE master technician. He previously worked at Van Chevrolet and Westfall O’Dell. Jeff truly enjoys helping people and working on vehicles. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids on their Veranda as well as racing of all kinds, watching classic movies and working on muscle cars.
