Heartland Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Excelsior Springs, MO has a company policy of NO Deposits or Holds on any vehicle in our inventory.

IF a customer is driving a certain distance to look at a vehicle, Heartland CDJR will "hold" the vehicle for the time it takes the customers to drive to our location. This instance is only acceptable when there are no prior or earlier appointments on the vehicle of interest. All sales associates should check with Sales Management staff to ensure there are no other appointments on the vehicle during that timeframe.

Example: If a customer lives 3 hours away and leaves his or her residence to drive to Heartland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to look at a specific vehicle, the Manager may approve to hold the vehicle for the 3 hour travel time it takes the customer to arrive. We DO NOT want to sell the vehicle out from under the customer who has committed to drive to the dealership.

Incoming New Vehicles: Pricing and financing can be determined before the vehicle is at the dealership to see if the customer will want the vehicle. If pricing is determined before the vehicle is at the dealership, the expiration date must be attached to the proposal. Manufacturer incentives change on a regular basis and expire. Pricing may vary.

Heartland CDJR does NOT take deposits. If we took deposits, half of our vehicles on our lot would not be for sale at any given time. This is not fair to all customers nor is it fair to our staff.
